We take the security of your accounts seriously. Here is how MinecraftAfkBots protects your data and Minecraft credentials.

Credential storage

Your Minecraft account credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. They are only decrypted when actively needed to authenticate with a Minecraft server. We never store passwords in plain text.

Authentication

MinecraftAfkBots uses the official Minecraft authentication protocol to connect to servers. We support Microsoft account authentication, which is the current standard for Minecraft Java Edition. Your Microsoft credentials are handled through Microsoft's official OAuth flow - we never see your Microsoft password.

Data protection

• Encryption in transit - All connections between your browser and MinecraftAfkBots use TLS (HTTPS).
• Encryption at rest - Sensitive data is encrypted in our database.
• Minimal data collection - We only store what is necessary to provide the service. See our privacy policy for details.
• No credential sharing - Your account credentials are never shared with third parties or other users.

Best practices

To keep your account safe:

• Enable two-factor authentication on your MinecraftAfkBots account.
• Use a strong, unique password for your Microsoft account.
• Enable two-factor authentication on your Microsoft account as well.
• Do not share your MinecraftAfkBots login credentials with anyone.
• Log out of the web client on shared or public computers.
