How to connect to Hypixel
Hypixel is the largest Minecraft Java Edition server. This guide covers how to connect your MinecraftAfkBots bot to Hypixel and what to keep in mind.

Connecting
Add your Minecraft account
Make sure your account is authenticated through Microsoft and added to the dashboard.
Set the server address
Enter mc.hypixel.net as the server address. No port is needed.
Set the version
Hypixel supports 1.8.9 through the latest version. For best performance, use 1.8.9 as many game modes are optimized for this version.
Connect
Click connect. Your bot will join the Hypixel lobby.
Important notes
- AFK in lobbies - Hypixel kicks idle players from lobbies after a few minutes. Enable anti-AFK to stay connected.
- SkyBlock AFK - To AFK in SkyBlock, you need to join your island first using a macro that sends
/skyblockafter connecting. - Account limit - Hypixel limits connections per IP. If running multiple accounts, use proxies.
Warning:Hypixel has strict anti-cheat and anti-bot systems. Using bots may violate their rules and result in bans. Use at your own risk.
Tip:Set up a macro to run /lobby periodically to avoid being sent to limbo due to inactivity.
