Keeping your account safe

Your MinecraftAfkBots account manages access to your Minecraft accounts and bot instances. Keeping it secure is important. Follow these best practices to protect your data.

Use a Strong, Unique Password

Choose a password that is at least 12 characters long and includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Do not reuse passwords from other websites.

Tip:Use a password manager like Bitwarden or 1Password to generate and store strong, unique passwords for every site.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your account. Even if someone gets your password, they cannot log in without the 2FA code from your phone. See our 2FA setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

Protect Your Microsoft Account

Since your Minecraft accounts are linked through Microsoft, securing your Microsoft account is equally important:

  • Enable 2FA on your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com
  • Use a unique password for Microsoft
  • Review your account's recent sign-in activity regularly
  • Remove any unrecognized devices or sessions

Warning:Never share your Microsoft account credentials with third-party services that claim to offer free Minecraft features. These are almost always scams.

Session Security

MinecraftAfkBots uses secure, encrypted sessions. However, you should still follow these practices:

  • Always log out when using shared or public computers
  • Do not click on suspicious links claiming to be from MinecraftAfkBots
  • Verify you are on the official MinecraftAfkBots website before entering your credentials

What to Do if Your Account is Compromised

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account:

  • Change your MinecraftAfkBots password immediately
  • Change your Microsoft account password
  • Enable 2FA if you have not already
  • Review your bot instances and remove any you did not create
  • Contact support at support@mcbotpanel.com

Note:MinecraftAfkBots will never ask for your password via email or chat. If you receive such a message, it is a phishing attempt.
