Bot not connecting

If your bot refuses to connect, work through this checklist from top to bottom. Each section addresses a different potential cause.

1. Verify the server address

Ensure the server address is spelled correctly and includes the port if it is not the default (25565). A common mistake is adding extra spaces or using the wrong domain.

play.exampleserver.com (correct)
play.exampleserver .com (extra space - wrong)

2. Re-authenticate your Microsoft account

Expired tokens are the most common cause of connection failures. Go to your dashboard, remove the account, and re-authenticate through Microsoft.

3. Check if the server is online

The server might simply be offline or restarting. You can check a server's status on sites like mcsrvstat.us by entering the server address. If the server is down, enable auto reconnect and wait for it to come back.

4. Check your account limit

Make sure you have not exceeded the account slots included in your plan. If all slots are in use, you need to disconnect one account before connecting another, or upgrade your plan.

5. Try without a proxy

If you are using a proxy, temporarily remove it to test. The proxy itself might be offline, rate-limited, or blocked by the server. If the bot connects without the proxy, the issue is with the proxy rather than MinecraftAfkBots.

6. Check the Minecraft version

Most connections use auto-detection, but some servers need a manually set version. Try setting the version explicitly to match what the server requires. See supported versions.

7. Check error messages

MinecraftAfkBots shows the disconnect reason provided by the server. Check the common error messages page for your specific error.

Note:If you have tried everything above and the bot still does not connect, email support@mcbotpanel.com with the server address, your account email, and the exact error message shown in the dashboard.

Tip:Always test with a known working server first (like Hypixel). If it connects there but not on your target server, the issue is server-specific.
