How do I AFK?
AFK-ing is the core purpose of MinecraftAfkBots. Once your bot is connected to a server, it stays online in the cloud regardless of whether your computer is on or off.
Starting an AFK session
Open the web client
Go to the MinecraftAfkBots Dashboard from any device.
Select your account
Choose the Minecraft account you want to AFK with from your account list.
Connect to a server
Enter the server address and click connect. Your bot will join the server and start the AFK session automatically.
Close your browser
Once connected, you can safely close the browser tab or even shut down your computer. The bot keeps running in the cloud.
Anti-AFK movement
Many Minecraft servers kick players who are idle for too long. MinecraftAfkBots includes built-in anti-AFK movement that periodically makes your bot walk, jump, sneak, or look around to stay active. This behavior is automatic and requires no configuration.
Note:The anti-AFK system is smart - it varies the movement patterns so your bot does not appear to be following a predictable loop.
Auto captcha solving
Some servers use captcha plugins to detect AFK bots. MinecraftAfkBots includes automatic captcha solving for common captcha plugins, so your bot stays connected without manual intervention.
Tips for reliable AFK sessions
- Enable auto reconnect so your bot automatically rejoins after server restarts or kicks.
- Use a proxy if the server blocks connections from datacenter IPs.
- Set up macros if you need your bot to perform actions periodically (e.g., sending a chat message every few minutes).
