Supported Minecraft versions
MinecraftAfkBots supports a wide range of Minecraft Java Edition versions. The bot protocol is continuously updated to stay compatible with the latest game releases.
Currently supported versions
MinecraftAfkBots supports Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.8.x through 1.21.x (latest). This covers the vast majority of active Minecraft servers.

Note:MinecraftAfkBots only supports Java Edition. Bedrock Edition is not supported at this time.
Version auto-detection
When connecting to a server, MinecraftAfkBots automatically detects the server's version and adjusts the protocol accordingly. You do not need to manually select a version in most cases.
If a server uses ViaVersion or a similar cross-version plugin, MinecraftAfkBots will connect using the server's native version for best compatibility.
What about mods?
MinecraftAfkBots connects as a vanilla client. Modded servers using Forge or Fabric may require specific handshakes that are not supported. However, most modded servers that accept vanilla clients will work fine.
Tip:If you are unsure whether your server is compatible, simply try connecting. If the connection fails, check connection troubleshooting for help.
