Chat & commands
MinecraftAfkBots lets you read server chat and send messages or commands through your bot in real time, directly from the web client.
Reading chat
Once your bot is connected to a server, the chat panel displays all incoming messages in real time. You can see public chat, private messages, system announcements, and any other server output.
The chat log is scrollable and automatically follows new messages. You can scroll up to review older messages without losing incoming ones.
Sending messages
Open the chat panel
In the web client, the chat panel is visible on the right side of the bot view.
Type your message
Click the input field at the bottom of the chat panel and type your message.
Send it
Press Enter to send. Your bot will send the message as if a player typed it in-game.
Sending commands
To send a server command, simply type it with the forward slash prefix, just like you would in-game:
Common commands you might use:
/msg- Send a private message to another player/r- Reply to the last private message/tpa- Request teleport to a player/home- Teleport to your home (if supported)/balance- Check your in-game balance
Note:Available commands depend on the server. MinecraftAfkBots sends whatever you type directly to the server, so any command the server supports will work.
Automating chat with macros
You can automate chat messages and commands using macros. For example, you can set up a macro to automatically respond to certain messages or send commands at regular intervals.
Tip:Use macros to automate repetitive commands like /vote or periodic chat messages to stay active on the server.
