Bot keeps getting kicked

Being kicked from a server shortly after connecting or periodically while AFK is a common issue. Here are the most likely causes and how to address them.

AFK timer

Most servers automatically kick players who are idle for too long. To prevent this, make sure you have anti-AFK enabled on the account. MinecraftAfkBots will simulate small movements to keep your account active.

Anti-bot plugins

Some servers use anti-bot plugins that detect headless clients. Common detection methods include:

  • Chat verification - Requiring you to type a code in chat. You can use macros to automate responses.
  • Movement checks - Looking for unnatural movement patterns. Anti-AFK with randomized intervals helps here.
  • IP reputation - Blocking known datacenter IPs. A residential or ISP proxy can help bypass this.

Connection limit per IP

If you are running multiple accounts on the same server, you may be exceeding the server's per-IP connection limit. The server kicks extra accounts to enforce this limit. Use proxies to distribute your accounts across different IPs.

Server restarts

Scheduled server restarts will disconnect all players, including your bot. This is normal. Enable auto reconnect to automatically rejoin after a restart.

Whitelist or approval required

Some servers require you to be whitelisted or to complete a registration process before you can stay connected. If you see a message like "You are not whitelisted", you need to apply to the server first through their website.

Warning:Repeatedly getting kicked and reconnecting too quickly may trigger rate limits or temporary bans on some servers. Set a reasonable reconnect delay (at least 15-30 seconds).

Note:Check the kick message in the dashboard. It usually tells you exactly why the server removed you. Cross-reference with the common error messages page.

Tip:For best results on anti-bot servers, use anti-AFK with randomized timing, a residential proxy, and macros to respond to verification prompts.
